The American Indian Adult Tobacco Survey also called the AI-ATS is a population-based survey designed to produce tribal specific data related to the beliefs, attitudes, opinions and behaviors related to tobacco use. The AI-ATS utilizes a methodology that places control over tribal surveillance and health monitoring within the domain of the respective tribes and tribal health systems.
