Job Title:                   National Network Program Manager       (full-time permanent)

Department:             Health Education & Chronic Disease Prevention                    

Location:                   Inter-Tribal Council Central Office, Sault Ste. Marie, MI

Job Summary:

Management of the National Native Commercial Tobacco Prevention Network.  Focus on all elements of tobacco prevention and control programming specific to Tribal leadership and governance.   Serve as a Leader for the Project Management Team.  Guide the planning and implementation of events and activities to improve access to culturally sensitive tobacco prevention.  Control training resources to include research activities among federally recognized tribes in the U.S.  

Job Specifications:

Bachelors degree in Public Health, or related field, with four years experience in community health field required.  Masters degree in Public Health preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.  Strong computer skills necessary, including word processing, power point, excel, web-based information gathering, and electronic file management.  Must have valid driver’s license and able to travel.  Background check required.  Prior contract and budget management experience preferred.  Prior experience working with Native populations preferred.  Preference given to qualified Native Americans.
