| A Note from the (former) Program Manager |
|
You may have noticed a new job posting in our inventory on www.keepitsacred.org . It was a little awkward posting my own position! I believe I have some explaining to do. I have recently resigned as Program Manager for the project as I will be relocating to Wisconsin for various personal reasons. Yes, big changes!. Although I resigned as Program Manager, my employer, Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, ( ITCM) has kindly agreed that I should stay on the project to ensure continuity within the National Native Network activities and that these activities continue to evolve. Considering my move, I am able to work as a Special Projects Consultant. My main responsibilities will be with our social marketing team, OSIYO Communications, and with the Resource Distribution Projects, and other duties as assigned . Noel Pingatore, Chronic Disease and Prevention Director at ITCM, will be the interim Program Manager and recruiting for the position is occurring. Noel can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 906-632-6896. I will still be available to any of you for technical assistance on the project, so please feel free to contact me at any time. I will be maintaining my ITCM email address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and my cell phone number is 906-440-7112. My phone number may change once I am in WI, and I will let you know immediately if it does change, along with a new mailing address. If you would like more information or are interested in the position of National Native Network Program Manager at ITCM, please contact Noel (above) or visit our website at www.keepitsacred.org. I’m happy to continue working with all of you on this project! I will be pursuing consulting work with Tribes and other organizations as well as development of educational publications as I transition into a new chapter in my life. It’s all good! If any of you have questions, concerns, or would like to chat a little more personally, please contact me. |
